CiteCreate respects your privacy. We do not store the text you paste into the citation generator. Citations are generated in your browser.
If you create an account, we store your name, email address, password hash, and security records needed to maintain your session. When you use Google sign-in, Google provides basic profile information and the encrypted authorization tokens required to keep the account connected. We never store your plain-text password or sell personal data.
Session records may include your IP address and browser user agent for account security. Contact us if you need access to or deletion of your account data.
We use standard analytics to understand how the site is used, which helps us improve the citation generator over time.
